Get Medical Insurance outlines the preventative dentistry benefits of Medical Insurance.
Maintaining good dental health is important, no matter how old you are. Regular dental checkups are vital. That’s why Medical Insurance pays for preventative dentistry.
What is preventative dentistry?
Preventative dentistry focuses on preventing dental problems before they occur. Preventative dentistry involves regular dental checkups and at-home dental care. This helps to prevent cavities and gum disease.
At-home dental care includes things like:
- Brushing your teeth twice a day.
- Flossing daily.
- Using mouthwash.
Regular dental checkups are an essential part of preventative dentistry. During a dental checkup, a dentist will clean your teeth and examine your mouth for any dental issues. Having good oral hygiene and seeking regular dental care can prevent dental problems.
